Question 1: Select all that apply

mediumAI-checkedTime Series

Which statements about machine learning on time series are true? Select all that apply.

We need to be careful how we split time series data into training and test sets1
Cross-validation folds for time series can be drawn at random, as in other machine learning tasks2
A forecast can only use past values of the series itself, not other variables3
A random forest trained only on a timestamp (seconds since 1970) predicts a constant for all test times after the training period, because trees cannot extrapolate4
